Erika Hessman
Summer Camp Program Director
Erika grew up in Brandon, South Dakota and graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 2005. She went on to attend the University of South Dakota where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice. In 2011, she attained her Master of Public Administration degree with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from USD as well.
While interning with Children's Miracle Network during graduate school, Erika discovered her passion for children and event planning. Erika is thrilled to be focusing on children's ministry and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with so many wonderful kids and their families.
In Erika's free time, you'll find her coordinating weddings at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or baking. She also loves all things sports (Go Pacers!) and enjoys cheering on her college staff at their various games across Sioux Falls.
